ERIC CARLE HONORS 2013

Centerpieces created to honor children's author and illustrator Chris Van Allsburg, most famously known for Jumangi and The Polar Express. Van Allsburg's illustration style is dreamy and incredibly detailed, almost peeling to life. The centerpieces were designed to imitate the magical qualities of his work; starting from blank white pages and then carving themselves out into color.
