ERIC CARLE HONORS 2011

Centerpieces created to honor adored children's author and illustrator Lois Ehlert. In homage to the illustrator, who mostly works with colored paper and tissue, the centerpieces were hand crafted paper flowers that burst and bloom from book pages. No two flowers were the same and each piece highlighted a color from Ehlert's saturated and vibrant palette.
